From a vision in 1985 to a 153 licensed bed facility today, Northeast Methodist Hospital, continues to expand its range of services and facilities to meet the healthcare needs of the Randolph Metrocom community in Northeast San Antonio. From cardiovascular services that include Open Heart Surgery and Cardiac Catherization, to The Breast Care Center, one of the busiest mammography centers in San Antonio.

 

 Northeast Methodist Hospital is committed to addressing the community's health care needs. Other services available include inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation and physical therapy, imaging services, in and out patient mental health services, a 24-hour Emergency Department with Board Certified Emergency Medicine physicians.

A full service imaging facility, Northeast Methodist Imaging Center has been providing personalized, cost effective care to Northeast San Antonio and the surrounding counties for nearly 15 years. Staffed by board certified radiologists from the South Texas Radiology Group and certified by JCAHO, the Texas Department of Health and the American College of Radiologists, the center offers state of the art imaging equipment that provides the highest quality images while maximizing patient comfort.
     The Center's new Helical Hi-Speed Computerized Axial Tomography (CAT) Scanner considerably reduces the average time it takes for a patient to be scanned. The Breast Care Center is equipped with the latest mammography equipment designed to release pressure as soon as the image is complete, enhancing patient comfort. Also included is an Osteoporosis Center that provides bone densitometry - the special scans needed to measure bone density, an important tool in the prevention, detection, and treatment of Osteoporosis.
     The staff of Northeast Methodist Imaging Center is committed to excellence and personalized service, from heating pads to warm the mammography plates, to staffing with full-time registered nurses to provide education, monitoring of telemetry patients, and sedation when necessary.
