Houston Texans football players, cheerleaders and team mascot TORO traveled 200 miles to visit Methodist Children’s Hospital, a campus of Methodist Hospital, and give young patients a special pre-season look at the team. Texan Ambassadors J.J. Moses and N.D. Kalu (former Texan players) joined the team’s cheerleaders in talking with patients, posing for photos and signing autographs. The children enjoyed the attention and also received special gifts including Houston Texan T-shirts and hats. TORO was a big hit as he high fived the children and brought a special energy into each room he visited. The Houston Texans are currently playing pre-season games with the regular season beginning September 11.
