WHO: Pediatric patients from Methodist Children’s Hospital will paint a chair to donate to “Chair-ity,” an event benefitting Ronald McDonald House Charities.
Activities like this one give the children a chance to have fun outside their hospital room and encourage their creativity. The children will be guided by a local art teacher who is also a Blue Bird volunteer and a child life specialist. The plan is for the children to make the chair look like a patient including putting a cast on one of the chair’s legs, hooking up an IV and attaching an ID bracelet.
