What We Are Today

The Methodist Healthcare System brings together 15 of San Antonio's most respected health care facilities to employ more than 6,000 people. Nearly 2,000 physicians are associated with the Methodist Healthcare System. And almost 1,400 of them have full admitting privileges at our facilities. Since we provide about 38% of the health care needs of San Antonio, we are taking a leading role in our community's second largest industry.
     At each of our facilities located throughout the community, the Methodist Healthcare System offers the quality selection of doctors, health care professionals, equipment, facilities, and health services you expect and deserve - from wellness events and preventive medicine to obstetrics, pediatrics, cardiology, oncology and a complete range of other health care services.

Dozens of health fairs, health screenings, educational programs and health-related support groups are provided as an ongoing outreach mission to all San Antonians every month.
