Methodist Hospital
Methodist Hospital offers many advanced medical imaging technologies that provide clear and precise images for physicians to use in their diagnosis and treatment of their patients’ diseases. These tools include magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), 3T magnetic resonance imaging, computerized tomography (CT), cerebral angiography, nuclear medicine and picture archiving and communications system (PACS). PACS captures images through the computer instead of film. As a result, physicians view images in their office or home computers providing faster and more convenient access to their patients’ medical imaging results.

Methodist Texsan Hospital
Radiology
Heart disease rarely shows any symptoms in the earliest and most treatable stages. So for many people, a heart attack is the first sign of trouble, and for some that may be too late.
Methodist Texsan Hospital’s* CT Calcium Scan can uncover heart disease in less than 30 minutes and years before you exhibit symptoms. This completely noninvasive heart screening is a quick and easy way to help understand your heart’s health.
How does it work?
The CT Calcium Scan provides physicians with a powerful screening tool. The scan can show calcium deposits that may be present in and around the heart, even in early stages when you have a much greater chance of treating the disease.
The CT Calcium Scan is completely noninvasive, no needles, pain or exercise. The test is 100 percent comfortable
and convenient – the whole process, from registration to results, can be done in about 30 minutes. It is so easy you will walk out of the hospital with your results in hand.
