Exciting things are happening at Methodist Stone Oak Hospital as we grow to meet our community's needs and increasing demand for specialized services. The hospital will expand more than 100,000 square feet to include the addition of 100 inpatient beds, four operating rooms and a second CT to our facility.

We recognize that construction is unsettling to our patients and guests. Please know we are not embarking on this project without carefully consideration of the pros and cons. We believe the benefits to you and future patients and guests outweigh any short-term disruption the construction project may cause. Our construction team will do everything we can to minimize the impact on your stay.

Parking: We ask for your patience during construction as it will impact available parking spaces. Please be reminded that we offer FREE valet parking from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., daily. The expansion will also include a three-level parking garage! Construction for the new parking garage started in early 2016 and is expected to take about 18 months to complete.

“The team here has been just about as creative as it can be with the existing space to take care of this community...”
~Marc Strode, CEO of Methodist Stone Oak Hospital

This will be the third expansion since the opening of Methodist Stone Oak Hospital in 2009, and won't be the last. The hospital was ultimately designed to accommodate more than 400 patient beds. While this expansion will put us well over half way there, it will not be the last in a series of planned expansion initiatives. The new addition is shown below, it is the tower marked with a cross and flame with an adjoining L-shaped building with glass windows.
