Hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM) is a disease affecting one in 500 Americans. In this condition, the heart muscle is abnormally thick. This thickness can be localized to one portion of the heart, or it may affect the entire heart. Some patients do not have symptoms while others may experience a cardiac arrest as the first sign of HCM.

Because each person is affected by HCM differently, patients to receive personalized attention and a wide range of expertise.
