Community Outreach

Methodist Healthcare realizes the importance of building lasting relationships within the communities it serves. Methodist Healthcare is proud to be involved with several organizations in Boerne. Several Methodist Healthcare team members have been enrolled in the Boerne Chamber of Commerce “Leadership Boerne” classes to become better acquainted with issues affecting Boerne and the State of Texas. Other examples of Methodist Healthcare participation in the Boerne community include a gift of valuable diabetes education for public school teachers, participation in several Weihnachts (Christmas) Parades with a float, a donation of a defibrillator to the Boerne High School Athletics Department and sponsor of the Rotary Charity Golf Tournament. Methodist Healthcare continues to support Country Mission for Health, Boerne YMCA Youth Athletic Sponsorship Package, Rainbow Senior Center Gala, Boerne Education Foundation's Wild, Wild West Gala and American Cancer Society Relay for Life in Kendall County.

As Methodist Healthcare changes to meet the growing needs of our communities, our commitment has remained the same—to continuously improve the health and well being of the communities we serve—“Serving Humanity to Honor God.” It was true when we first were chartered as a single hospital in 1955 and it will be true for every facet of Methodist Healthcare in the future.
