Charity Care Mission
As part of our mission, Methodist Healthcare provides care to patients without financial means to pay for hospital services.
Charity care will be provided to all patients who present themselves for care at any Methodist Healthcare facility without regard to race, creed, color or national origin and who are classified as financially or medically indigent.

Methodist Healthcare today announced that all of its hospitals have been recognized as 2013 Top Performers on Key Quality Measures® by The Joint Commission, the leading accreditor of health care organizations in the United States.

At Methodist Healthcare, the safety of our patients, staff, volunteers, physicians and visitors is always a top priority. Though NO cases of the Ebola Virus Disease have been found in San Antonio, Methodist Healthcare is following all recommendations of the Federal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Texas Department of State Health Services in the event that we should receive a patient infected with Ebola.
