Rehabilitation services we offer
In addition to therapists, your rehab team might include nurses, dietitians, pharmacists, social workers and physicians. You qualify for our inpatient rehab services in four steps:
- A physician will determine your medical necessity while you are in the hospital.
- You must be willing and able to receive three hours of therapy every day.
- You are expected to see functional gains as a result of inpatient rehab.
- You require two of the three services: physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech therapy.
Occupational therapy
Our occupational therapists restore a sense of ease to your daily routine, assisting with self-care needs like dressing, bathing and grooming. They guide you towards living more independently by helping you develop your cooking and cleaning skills. Depending on your individual goals, your care team might also teach you coping skills for stress and uncomfortable emotions.
Physical therapy
Your physiotherapy team will guide you through various exercises and movements to facilitate the healing process. Depending on your condition, you might receive gait training and manual therapy or perform muscle strengthening exercises. Our therapists also offer pain management, electrical stimulation and neuromuscular facilitation, or hands-on work that stimulates muscle function.
Speech therapy
Your work with a speech therapist will help address any communication challenges you're experiencing. Whether you're struggling with cognitive deficits or difficulty swallowing, our dedicated specialists are here to support you.
