Greg Seiler

Greg Seiler joined Methodist Hospital Atascosa as Chief Executive Officer in January 2019, with more than 25 years of hospital administration experience. He also serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Methodist Hospital Metropolitan.

Prior to joining Methodist Hospital Atascosa, he served as the CEO of Rio Grande Hospital in McAllen. He also served as the COO of Riverside Community Hospital, where he oversaw a $20 million expansion of the hospital’s emergency department and the debut of the Heart Care Institute.

Under his leadership, Methodist Hospital Atascosa has increased its outreach significantly—including the debut of the Methodist Hospital Atascosa Multi-specialty Clinic, which brings in doctors specializing in several service lines, including sports medicine, orthopedics, urology and cardiology care. The hospital recently earned a 5-Star rating from the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS)—making it the only hospital in the Methodist Healthcare network to achieve this honor in 2019.

Methodist Hospital Atascosa also serves as a base of operations for Methodist AirCare, which provides advanced medical care and rapid patient transport to the citizens of South Texas.

Chief Nursing Officer/Chief Operating Officer, Methodist Hospital Atascosa

Jacalyn DeHarte

Jacalyn DeHarte joined Methodist Hospital Atascosa as Chief Nursing Officer and Chief Operating Officer. Prior to her role, DeHarte served as Associate Chief Nursing Officer at Swedish Medical Center in Englewood, Colorado. During her time at Swedish Medical Center, Jacalyn developed a team model on Medical-Surgical units with recruitment and retention of LPNs into acute care, which is unique in Colorado. She also led unit expansion for key service line areas, such as: Orthopedics, Surgical Cardiology, and Acute Rehab. Additionally, she led the implementation of weekly whole-house leadership patient experience rounds that improved the engagement of leaders in patient experience agenda, and overall patient experience results.

 Jacalyn earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Azusa Pacific University and a Master of Business Administration from Southeastern Oklahoma State University.

Vice President of Clinical Operations, Methodist Hospital Atascosa

Linda Fusco

Linda Fusco, MSN RN joined Methodist Hospital Atascosa as vice president of clinical operations with a vast experience in nursing leadership. Prior to her role as vice president of clinical operations, Linda served as division director of nursing operations at Methodist Healthcare Division, HCA. She also held the title of clinical nurse administrator at Methodist Women & Children’s Hospital. She has worked for Methodist Healthcare since 1994.

Linda received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from South Dakota State University and her Master of Science (MSN) from Galen College of Nursing. She is a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt and a member of the American Organization of Nurse Leaders.
