San Antonio, Texas — Methodist Hospital expands the Mother Baby Unit, a significant enhancement to the maternity care facilities. This expansion underscores our commitment to providing the highest standard of care for families.

Thanks to a $4.9 million investment, the Mother Baby Unit has grown by an additional 9 beds, bringing the total to 46 beds. The newly expanded unit features a carefully designed layout that optimizes patient care, comfort, and safety, ensuring that families receive the best possible experience during one of life's most precious moments.

In 2023, Methodist Hospital welcomed over 6,300 newborns, a testament to our trusted and exceptional maternity services. The expanded unit is equipped with the latest medical technologies and designed with the comfort and safety of mothers and babies in mind.
