Methodist Hospital Total Joint Center

Methodist Hospital Inpatient Rehabilitation Center

Our Inpatient Rehabilitation Center is designed to be a next level of care for certain injuries, accidents and conditions that may have caused you limited function or mobility. Our multidisciplinary rehabilitation team consists of physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech pathologists, rehabilitation nurses, social workers or case managers and physicians. Patients have access to close medical supervision and 24-hour rehabilitation nursing.

Joint replacement surgery education

Every joint replacement patient is provided a variety of education prior to surgery day. Our goal is to help each patient understand not just their procedure, but also the recovery process. Therapy and pain management are both key factors in a successful joint replacement surgery. Our specially trained joint team will ensure each patient is prepared for a smooth procedure day and recovery process.

Minimally invasive and robotic-assisted surgery

Methodist Hospital’s Total Joint Center offers some of the latest advancements in surgical care. Providing our surgeons with robotic- assisted technology gives our patients access to more minimally invasive treatment options, often leading to shorter recovery times and shorter hospital stays, with individual results varying.

Visiting our orthopedic unit

Methodist Hospital is located just inside the Medical Center. Our orthopedic unit is located on the fourth floor of the North Tower. For patients and visitors to the orthopedic unit, we suggest Parking in Garage 2. In additional, there is valet parking available at the main entrance available for a fee. Garage 2.
