Minimally invasive and robotic-assisted surgery
Minimally invasive spine procedures can be performed using advanced technology. At Methodist Hospital Texsan, our expert surgeons use intra-operative navigation systems to ensure extreme accuracy when performing certain spine procedures.
Minimally invasive surgery means less trauma to muscles and tissues, resulting in shorter operations, less pain after surgery and a faster recovery. Many patients go home within a day or two.
Our spine program focuses on the diagnosis and treatment of various spinal conditions using individualized care plans designed to maximize each patient’s recovery.
Our physicians visit each patient daily and track milestones to ensure a fast and safe recovery process before being discharged home. We work to provide seamless care with a multidisciplinary approach involving case management, nutrition and physical therapy and rehabilitation.
Therapy and rehabilitation care plans are provided by certified therapists in either individual or group settings depending on your needs. Our therapists will evaluate and monitor your progress improvement throughout your recovery.
