Methodist Ambulatory Surgery Center - Medical Center
Located on the second floor of the Methodist Center on Medical Drive at Ewing Halsell, this center contains nine large operating rooms and one gastroenterology endoscopy suite. Medical Center specializes in ear, nose and throat procedures along with gynecology, general surgery, plastic surgery, oral surgery, pediatric dentistry, gastrointestinal endoscopy and ophthalmology. The center conveniently and efficiently serves many of the outpatient surgery needs of Methodist Hospital.
Methodist Ambulatory Surgery Center - North Central
Located in the fast-growing Stone Oak community, this center opened in 2002 to serve the outpatient needs of north central Bexar County. This modern, spacious facility has five operating rooms, two gastrointestinal suites and a specialized pain management room. The facility specializes in gynecology, orthopedic, podiatry, general and ophthalmology procedures.

Methodist Boerne Emergency CenterA Department of Methodist Hospital
Methodist Boerne Emergency Center serves Boerne and the surrounding communities with a medical center that includes the first-ever 24/7 freestanding emergency center in South and Central Texas. The 9-1-1 emergency facility gives the Boerne area a higher level of emergency care and the resources of an acute care hospital for serious illness or injury, right in the neighborhood.
Methodist Children's HospitalA Campus of Methodist Hospital
Opened in 1998 as the only hospital in South Texas designed and built especially for children, Methodist Children’s Hospital is the best San Antonio has to offer children. From the environment to the level of care, we carefully consider every detail. Colorful images and artwork enhance every window and wall to create a welcoming, child-focused environment with play rooms on every floor. The campus features more than 75 beds in the newborn intensive care unit for babies born prematurely or facing other medical challenges. Methodist Children’s Hospital recently expanded its emergency department to more than 30 individual treatment rooms handling more than 65,000 pediatric cases per year. The campus includes a pediatric intensive care unit, pediatric surgical operating suites and outpatient clinics for children with complex illnesses. Methodist Heart HospitalA Campus of Methodist Hospital
In the early 1990s, the Methodist Heart Hospital was created and became the most preferred provider of heart services in South Texas. In November 2001, the Heart Center evolved into the Methodist Heart Hospital, a campus of Methodist Hospital. Located within Methodist Hospital, Methodist Heart Hospital offers the most comprehensive cardiology services in South Texas. Surveys consistently show that our physicians, nurses and staff are the most respected in the region. Heart patients have full access to comprehensive care should the need arise. In 2008 the Methodist Heart Transplant program was moved to the Methodist Heart Hospital to better serve its patients by providing all specialty cardiac services under one roof.

Methodist Specialty and Transplant HospitalA Campus of Methodist Hospital
Methodist Specialty and Transplant Hospital, home to the Texas Transplant Institute, a department of Methodist Hospital. (Address: 8201 Ewing Halsell Drive, San Antonio, Texas 78229 and Phone: 210-575-8400) , is a full-service facility that is widely acclaimed for its outstanding kidney, liver and pancreas transplant programs. The Texas Transplant Institute made medical history in 2010 by performing the world’s first 16-way kidney donor exchange in three consecutive days in a single center. The kidney transplant program is the largest living donor program in the nation due to the success of its paired exchange kidney program. Other specialty areas at Methodist Specialty and Transplant Hospital include emergency care, psychiatry, bariatric surgery, inpatient rehabilitation and the latest treatments for cancer and incontinence. The facility houses a program with a specially trained team that works with law enforcement officers to provide forensic exams and emergency care for survivors of sexual assault.
Methodist Stone Oak Hospital
Methodist Stone Oak Hospital is the first full-service hospital built this century in South Texas. Opened in March 2009, the facility features many modern design amenities for patients, families and physicians. It is truly the next generation in Methodist Healthcare’s nearly half-century legacy of providing high quality care to South Texans. Services range from emergency care, obstetrics, newborn intensive care, cardiology, neurosurgery, general surgery and orthopedics. Patients enjoy an environment of all private rooms. Methodist Texsan HospitalA Campus of Methodist Hospital
Methodist Texsan Hospital is the newest member of the Methodist Healthcare family of outstanding health care facilities. Opening in 2004, the hospital primarily focused on the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of heart disease. In late 2010, the Methodist Healthcare System announced plans to purchase Texsan Heart Hospital. The purchase became final January 1, 2011. Over the prior seven-year period, physicians, nurses, medical technicians and professional staff developed an award-winning reputation for providing outstanding cardiovascular care in San Antonio and South Texas. Methodist Texsan Hospital is a 120-bed licensed acute care facility with all private rooms, four operating suites, four cardiac catheterization labs and a cardiovascular emergency department.
