Methodist Hospital Northeast awarded Best Hospital in San Antonio four years in a row

San Antonio, Texas — For the fourth year in a row, the community has voted Methodist Hospital Northeast as “Best Hospital” in San Antonio through the San Antonio Express-News 2024 YourSA Readers’ Choice Awards.

“We are ecstatic to be named “Best Hospital” for the fourth consecutive year,” shared Michael Beaver, Chief Executive Officer of Methodist Hospital Northeast. “We are grateful to the community for recognizing the extraordinary patient care we provide and the dedication of every one of our hospital staff members. Methodist Hospital Northeast became a campus of Methodist Healthcare in 1995 and has since been committed to serving the growing northeast Bexar, Comal, and Guadalupe counties with the highest quality of care. In the past few years, the hospital has invested over 150 million dollars in growth initiatives, which include an emergency room expansion, the addition of two specialty care units with 60 private patient rooms, a new parking garage, a hybrid operating room, an electrophysiology lab, a second medical office building, and three free-standing emergency departments. A new state-of-the-art outpatient surgery center is slated to open in the fall of this year.

The hospital has been awarded a 250 Best Hospital in America by Healthgrades for the past three years, a Top 50 Cardiovascular Hospital by Fortune/PINC AI for 2024, and a Top 100 Hospital by Merative/Fortune in 2021.
