Santa Claus and The Bexar County Sheriff's Office bring holiday cheer to Methodist Children's Hospital
Sheriff Javier Salazar and BCSO cadets donate toys to our young warriors.
In a heartwarming display of holiday spirit, the Bexar County Sheriff's Office joined forces with Santa Claus to spread joy at Methodist Children's Hospital.
Sheriff Salazar and the BCSO mascot, Chucky accompanied Santa Claus as they went room to room, gifting Christmas presents and sharing laughter with our little warriors.
“Protecting and serving the community encompasses many aspects, and as peace officers, our primary duty is to foster peace. Sometimes, this means ensuring that someone has a meal or a warm place to stay for the night. In this instance, it involves putting a smile on a child's face, which is also an integral part of our job as peace officers. These children will always hold a special place in our hearts, and we are committed to doing anything we can to help,” said Sheriff Javier Salazar.
Parents and children alike were thrilled to take pictures with Santa Claus and Sheriff Salazar, creating lasting memories.
