David Davilla and his family.

COVID-19 invaded the Davilla home, abruptly turning their world upside down. David, father and husband, spent a month in the hospital, where he was intubated three times, unaware his son had been admitted with COVID-19 and was in a room down the hall. David and his family never gave up the fight, and neither did we. He continued to improve and ended up at Methodist Hospital Stone Oak Rehabilitation Center, where he recently graduated and returned home to his family.
