Methodist Hospital and Methodist Children’s Hospital sincerely thanks you for your continued support in helping us grow. We are excited to announce that construction will end this month. Our construction team has worked tirelessly to minimize the impact of the opening for all patients, physicians, staff and guests.
HOSPITAL ENTRANCE
Beginning June 11, 2018, the entrance to Methodist Hospital and the Methodist Emergency Room (ER) will open. To access to both Methodist Hospital and Methodist Adult ER, patients and visitors may enter through the entrance located off Floyd Curl.
To help patients and visitors arrive at the new entrance, valet parking services will be available at this location for $8.00 per day. Garage 1 has designated ADA parking on the first floor and patients may enter on the first floor through the sliding doors facing Garage 1 for Methodist Hospital. For pedestrians, all sidewalks around the campus are accessible.
ADMITTING LOCATIONS UPDATE
SL2 admitting will be expanded on Monday, June 11 to include 6 private registration offices, 7 private consult rooms, and waiting for over 100 patients and visitors. Registration on the 5th floor will move to SL2. There will be a volunteer in the fifth floor waiting room to assist families as needed. Admitting on the first floor will move to the west side of the central tower, adjacent to the new entrance from Floyd Curl. There will be 4 private registration offices and waiting for 45 patients and visitors.
MOTHER BABY OPENS 10 NEW ROOMS
The new mother baby beds adjacent to the existing beds on 2 Central West will open Monday, June 11. There is a dedicated elevator from Labor & Delivery to the new MBU beds keeping our infants secure throughout their stay.
