Wedding story for live donor patient
In 2018, Methodist Hospital Specialty and Transplant hosted a wedding ceremony for Art Morris who had a live donor kidney transplant on 7/26/18. The event had all the components of a fairy tale wedding – the groom anxiously waiting, the highly anticipated entrance of the bride, before a crowd of well-wishers. The well-wishers included nursing and ancillary staff from both the Transplant Care Unit and the Kidney Transplant Clinic, held in the Methodist Specialty and Transplant Chapel of Hope.
