We understand that visitors can greatly enhance a patient's comfort and recovery. Visitors will find a variety of services at Methodist Hospital | Metropolitan, including a gift shop, dining, WiFi access, and more. For our current visitor policy, please call (210) 757-2200.

Paid parking is available near the hospital's main entrance, the Women’s Pavilion, and the Plaza area.

Visiting hours are 8:00am – 9:00pm.

A parent or guardian must remain with patients under 18 years old at all times.

Please respect quiet hours and patient privacy during your visit.

High–speed wireless internet is available throughout Methodist Hospital | Metropolitan, providing patients and visitors with fast, reliable access to the internet and email.

Chaplains are available to provide spiritual and emotional support to patients, families, and friends. To request chaplain services, (210) 757-2200. The Methodist Hospital | Metropolitan Chapel is located near the entrance of the admitting area.

Interpreter services are available for non-English-speaking patients and families. For assistance, please call (210) 757-2200.

Methodist Hospital | Metropolitan is a tobacco-free campus. Smoking and tobacco use are not permitted anywhere on the hospital grounds, including outdoor areas and parking lots. Thank you for helping us maintain a healthy environment.

We strive to make our facility accessible to all visitors. Wheelchairs are available at the main entrance, and all public areas are designed for accessibility. If you need assistance, please speak with a staff member.

Methodist Hospital | Metropolitan has a dedicated 24-hour security team patrolling the campus. They respond promptly to any concerns or requests. For security assistance, call (210) 757-1700.

Our hospital cafeteria is located in the basement level. Visitors can also Fooda, a food service that brings local restaurant meals, to the cafeteria.

Monday — Friday: 6:30am – 8:00pm

Saturday and Sunday: 6:30am – 7:00pm

Our gift shop offers snacks, flowers, and personal items. It is located at the entrance near admitting.
