Our Suzell Waller Women’s Pavilion is the city’s only standalone birthing facility dedicated to women’s services. We provide care for low- and high-risk labors and deliveries, including multiple births.

Neonatal intensive care and maternal care
Our birthing center is designed to ensure you and your baby receive exceptional care throughout the delivery and recovery journey. We have been designated as a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and Maternal Care facility. We are also a leader in LGBTQ+ Healthcare Equality and have received top scores for patient safety for 10 consecutive rating periods. Features of our facility include:
- 16-bed Level III NICU staffed 24/7 with a nurse practitioner
- 24/7 anesthesia coverage
- 24/7 physician coverage by our OB hospitalist group
- 58 licensed beds:
- 7 antepartum beds for high-risk prenatal care
- 16 private labor-and-delivery suites
- 35 private, spacious postpartum rooms, designed to encourage quality time between you and your baby (and private suites available for an additional charge)
- Advanced infant security system
- Certified Texas 10 Step lactation support on-site
- Chef-prepared meals
- Cord blood collection and banking
- Quiet hours between 2:00pm and 4:00pm
