HIV AIDS Testing

Methodist Hospital Metropolitan provides human immunodeficiency virus (HIV), sexually transmitted disease (STD) and sexually transmitted infection (STI) testing to patients. HIV-positive patients can expect the same exceptional care we provide to all of our patients as we follow our mission of "Serving Humanity to Honor God."

The Methodist ER Alamo Heights are equipped to provide pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) for patients at risk for HIV.

Our freestanding ER locations

At Methodist Hospital Metropolitan, our goal is to provide safe and convenient emergency care for our community. In addition to our main hospital ER, we have a free-standing emergency room located in the Quarry to help provide the emergency care you need, close to home.

Visiting our ER

Our ER is located inside Methodist Hospital Metropolitan at 1310 McCullough Ave. in San Antonio, Texas. We offer a parking lot, a parking garage and valet parking. Once you arrive at the ER, please sign in at the front desk and one of our staff members will take you to triage.
