Methodist Hospital Stone Oak is among the busiest and most advanced surgical facilities in South Texas. When possible, we use robotic surgery to achieve shorter recovery times, less blood loss, reduced risk of infections and smaller scars compared to traditional surgeries.
Our comprehensive surgery center has a range of facilities and services. Patients have access to our:
- 20-bed Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
- Catheterization lab
- Angiography lab
- Two endoscopy labs
- Six operating room suites

Arriving for your surgery appointment
When you arrive at the hospital, you can find a spot in our expansive parking lot off East Sonterra Boulevard or take advantage of valet services. Valet costs $8 per day, per visit, or you can pay $12 to come and go as needed for the day.
Inside the hospital, you'll see signs guiding you to the surgery department for your appointment. If you need help checking in or have any questions once you arrive, head to the information desk in the main lobby. It's just inside the front entrance, which is facing East Sonterra Boulevard.
