The hospital’s accredited catheterization lab has the volume to perform approximately 4000 Cardiac Cath Lab and Electrophysiology Lab procedures annually. Methodist Hospital Metropolitan is the only hospital in San Antonio, and only one of seven in Texas, to receive joint accreditation as a Heart Failure Hospital by the American College of Cardiology and the American Heart Association.
