Esther Kwon, CEO

Esther Kwon joined Methodist Hospital Texsan in May of 2023.Previously, Esther served as the Chief Operating Officer for St. David’s Medical Center, holding various administrative roles since 2012.

During her time as COO, Esther led 16 hospital departments/services with more than 400 full-time employees, and she has played an instrumental role in leading the hospital through multiple regulatory and emergency operation situations, including the COVID-19 pandemic.

Esther is a member of the Breast Cancer Resource Center of Texas Board of Directors, as well as a mentor for the St. David’s Foundation Neal Kocurek Scholarship program.

Nadine L. Griffiths-Brooks

Nadine L. Griffiths-Brooks

Griffiths-Brooks has over 25 years of progressive healthcare experience. She began her career with Methodist Healthcare in 2008, as a Registered Nurse Coordinator at Methodist Hospital Stone Oak. Prior to joining Methodist Hospital Metropolitan as their Assistant Chief Nursing Officer, she served as Vice President of Clinical Operations at Methodist Hospital Texsan.

Griffiths-Brooks holds a Comprehensive Diploma in Nursing and Midwifery from Natal College of Nursing South Africa, MSN Leadership and Management from Western Governor’s University, and most recently, a Doctorate of Philosophy in Nursing Science from Texas Women’s University.

Brin Cole

Chief Operating Officer, Methodist Hospital Texsan

Methodist Hospital Texsan appointed Brin Cole, MHSA as Chief Operating Officer.

Prior to joining the Methodist Healthcare System in 2022, Cole began her career in healthcare with Ascension Texas in 2016.

Cole holds a Master of Science in Healthcare Administration and a Bachelor of Arts in History and Business Administration from Trinity University. Additionally, she completed internships with University Health System and Airrosti Rehab Centers. Cole has also completed the HCA Executive Development program in 2022 and is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives.

Elizabeth Gonzales

Chief Financial Officer, Methodist Hospital | Texsan

Elizabeth Gonzales joined Methodist Hospital | Texsan as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) in December 2023. Elizabeth has direct responsibility for all financial activities to include accounting and budgeting along with planning and development of operational strategies.

Prior to joining Methodist Healthcare, Gonzales served as the Vice President of Finance at DHR Health in Edinburg, Texas. During her time as VP of Finance, Gonzales worked closely with the executive team and managed financial reporting, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Gonzales began her career in healthcare financial management with UHS-South Texas Health Systems in 2017. Throughout her career, she developed skills in financial planning and analysis, budgeting and forecasting, and in leadership. She also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Management and Political Science from Texas A&M University.

Chamisa MacIndoe, CMO

Chief Medical Officer, Methodist Hospital Texsan

Chamisa MacIndoe

Dr. Chamisa MacIndoe joined Texsan in February 2024. Previously, she served as Medical Director for the ICU and Neurocritical Care at UCHealth Memorial Hospital in Colorado Springs and as Physician Advisor in Utilization Management for the UCHealth system.

Dr. MacIndoe completed medical school at Kansas City University of Medicine and Bioscience, residency training in Emergency Medicine at the State University of New York-Buffalo, and fellowship in Neurocritical Care at the University of Pennsylvania. She is certified in Health Care Quality Management and completed her Master of Health Care Delivery Science at Dartmouth which incorporates MBA/MHA course work with emphasis on optimization of care delivery models.

Additionally, she has been honored with “Top Doctors” recognition and quality/safety and collaboration medical staff awards from her peers. She was recognized by the local Business Journal’s “Women of Influence” award.
