Methodist Hospital Landmark welcomes new chief operating officer

Scarcliff transitioned into her new role effective December 30, 2024.

San Antonio, TX – Methodist Hospital Landmark has appointed Jennifer Scarcliff, MBA, MSN, RN, CNOR, as the new Chief Operating Officer (COO).

Scarcliff joined Methodist Healthcare in 2005, most recently serving as Assistant Chief Operating Officer (ACOO) for Methodist Hospital Specialty & Transplant (MHST). Under her leadership at MHST, the perioperative services team was recognized as an HCA Unit of Distinction in 2022. With responsibility for perioperative services, pharmacy, lab, respiratory, and imagining, Scarcliff played an integral role in the growth of procedural areas and achieved significant increases in key service lines such as Intervention Radiology, Robotics, Urology, and Transplant cases.

Scarcliff has served in clinical and leadership roles across the Methodist Healthcare system, including Methodist Hospital and Methodist Hospital Metropolitan, in addition to her six years at MHST. She holds an Executive M.B.A from the University of Texas at San Antonio and Master of Science in Nursing Administration from the University of Texas at Arlington.

Scarcliff transitioned into her new role effective December 30, 2024.
