Methodist Hospital Landmark welcomes Whitney Babb as Chief Nursing Officer

Babb joined Methodist Healthcare in 2023 and has supported numerous HCA Healthcare facilities.

San Antonio, TX Methodist Hospital | Landmark has appointed Whitney Babb, MSN, RN, as the new Chief Nursing Officer (CNO). Babb joined Methodist Healthcare in 2023 and has supported numerous HCA Healthcare facilities. 

Babb brings more than 13 years of experience to her role, most recently serving as the Assistant Chief Nursing Officer (ACNO) at Methodist Hospital | Metropolitan, where she provided operational oversight to numerous service line leaders, clinical support coordinators, and rapid response teams. Prior to joining Methodist Hospital | Metropolitan as ACNO in November 2023, Babb served as the ACNO at CJW Johnston-Willis Hospital.

Babb holds a Master of Science, Nursing Administration and Leadership from the University of Texas at Arlington and is a graduate of the 2024 HCA Executive Development Program.

Babb transitioned into her new role effective January 13, 2025.
