Today, The American Cancer Society announced the appointment of Jaime Wesolowski as Chair to the newly created 2018 American Cancer Society South Region Advisory Cabinet.

Jaime, president and CEO of Methodist Healthcare System of San Antonio, has been an avid supporter of the American Cancer Society for the past eight years. As a cancer survivor, Jamie understands the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of patients and their families. He and his wife, Lori, co-chaired the 2010 American Cancer Society’s Cattle Baron’s Gala, and have remained active with the Society since then. Jamie currently serves as the Area Board chair for the Society’s South Texas Board.

“We are honored that Jamie accepted the role as Chair for our South Region Advisory Cabinet,” said Jeff Fehlis, executive vice president for the American Cancer Society. “His expertise, compassion, dedication and leadership will only help strengthen the American Cancer Society’s work in San Antonio and across the South Region.”

The South Region Advisory Cabinet provides strategic volunteer leadership to the American Cancer Society which accelerates the mission of the Society, increases our relevance, and generates revenue. As Chair, Jamie will lead a team of dedicated leadership volunteers to help develop and execute strategic plans across the South Region, which includes Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, Mississippi, New Mexico, and Texas.
