Sparky the Fire Dog and Volunteers from San Antonio Emergency Scene Rehab to Help the Busy Bunny Make His Rounds
As the Easter Bunny hippity hops his way through the city this weekend, he will make a special stop at Methodist Children’s Hospital on Friday, April 2. Sparky the Fire Dog from the San Antonio Fire Department and volunteers from Bexar County Emergency Scene Rehab are helping the busy bunny with his early stop at the hospital. They will distribute stuffed animals, toy cars, coloring books and crayons to patients there. This is the seventh year that Bexar County Emergency Scene Rehab has provided gifts and escorted the Easter Bunny during his visits with San Antonio children. The organization provides on-site support for personnel responding to emergencies in 12 south and central Texas counties.
