Methodist Healthcare
December 16, 2010

Beginning December 23, babies who are born at Methodist Hospital will be brought to their moms for the first time nestled in their own Christmas stockings. The outfits include a large red stocking with a white cuff and a matching Santa hat in red and white. Members of the Blue Bird Auxiliary, the volunteer group at Methodist Hospital, have provided this hand-made attire and it has become a time-honored tradition during the Christmas season for more than 40 years. The stocking tradition will continue through December 25. Methodist Hospital is located at 7700 Floyd Curl Drive.

The newborns are adorable as they snuggle into their own Christmas stockings and matching caps to greet mom and dad during the holiday season.
