Bone marrow transplant process
Before you schedule an appointment with our team, we must first receive a referral from your physician. Once we receive the referral, our team will meet with you to discuss the transplant options and determine if you are a good candidate.
Before treatment, you will also meet with a financial coordinator and social worker to discuss your insurance benefits and how to minimize out-of-pocket costs.
We require patients to schedule follow-up appointments with our team. We provide each patient with the following resources before and after the transplant process:
- Oncology support group
- Social worker
- Financial coordinator
- Hospital chaplain
