Thanks to our partnership with Sarah Cannon, the Cancer Institute of HCA Healthcare, we provide compassionate breast cancer care nurse navigators to support you during your cancer journey. As your advocate, your breast cancer nurse navigator can help:

  • Connect you to community resources and show you how to access them
  • Explain your diagnosis and the available treatment options
  • Improve communication between your care team and promote your personal needs during treatment decisions
  • Provide educational materials

Nationally Accredited Breast Cancer Care

Methodist Hospital Metropolitan is accredited by the American College of Surgeons’ National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers for our excellence in breast cancer treatment.

We have also received designation as a Quality Breast Center of Excellence, the highest certification level from the National Quality Measures of Breast Centers (NQMBC).

Pink Warriors breast cancer support group

Methodist Hospital Metropolitan is home to the Pink Warriors Breast Cancer Support Group, a community of breast cancer patients and their caregivers. Pink Warriors provides emotional and social services to help support and encourage you throughout your cancer journey.

The oncology unit is located on the seventh floor of Methodist Hospital Metropolitan.

Methodist Hospital Metropolitan is situated in the center of downtown San Antonio off of McCullough Ave. We offer a parking lot, parking garage and valet parking.
