Gary I. Arishita, MD

Dr. Arishita received his medical degree from F. Edward Herbert School of Medicine in Maryland in 1987. He then completed his general surgery residency at David Grant USAF Medical Center, California in 1992, followed by his plastic surgery fellowship at Wilford Hall USAF Medical Center, Texas in 1997. Dr. Arishita also attended the Kleinert Institute for Hand and Microsurgery where he completed a fellowship in hand and microsurgery. He went on to complete 16 years of military assignments between the years of 1992 and 2008, where he started as Staff General Surgeon and retired as Commander of the 59th Surgical Operations Squadron. Dr. Arishita is affiliated with Methodist Hospital and board certified by the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Plastic Surgery. He is also a member of the San Antonio International Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, the American Society of Plastic Surgery, and the American Society for Reconstructive Microsurgery.
