Richard Lake is an active 78-year-old man who loves working, walking on the beach and golfing. He started noticing pain in his legs that prevented him from doing the things he enjoyed.
“I used to play a lot of golf, and it got to where every time I walked, my leg would cramp up,” said Richard Lake. His cardiologist referred him to Dr. Syed Rizvi for treatment at Methodist Hospital | Specialty and Transplant. Dr. Rizvi performed bypass surgery in Lake’s right leg and put a stent in his left leg to open circulation. “I highly recommend the hospital and the surgery. I could tell a difference right away, and I’m back to walking a mile on the treadmill.”
